I have never, EVER been treated with such utter disrespect etc...in my entire life as I have been from this company!
If you try calling the phone numbers listed; 800 275 ****, 801 424 ****, 888 527 **** Etc . .
.You wil be given the complete run a round . . .or no answer or put on hold infinately .
. .
I put in a request to have them call me around 8am CST on 11 16 2023...They call me the night before...THEN, they send me an email stating that my request did not come from the email involved in the request...
Quite frankly, I think maybe it's time for a court to decide why, etc...WD is turning into a "wannabe God"

WARNING: Western Digital's claim that San DIsk's USB flash drives and be shared in FLASE. After two years and hundreds of hours on working on a project and distributing data to others on their SanDisk's USB flash drives, I discovered that some systems won't even read the flash drives let alone let me edit or retrieve it's data.
When I contacted customer service about the details, they were ambiguous and not very transparent with what they could do for me as a customer. They refused to give me a full contact name and phone number of a supervisor who was supposed to be handling my case. They ghosted me. They said that they would get back with-in 24 to 48 business hours of my claim and they never did.
This makes me very suspicious of the company and i have lost faith in the product as my new computer will does not recognize the SanDIsk. The computer has been trouble shooted and it is a SanDisk issues with not being able to retrieve the data from this project.
- Customer service is ambiguous not authentic nor transparent
Preferred solution: A product that I can retrieve my data on and share with others. I lost two years and hundreds of hours of work on a project to not be able to share their drives and retrieve my data to finish the project.

It's been a week since a I tried to contact WD. They are unaware of the issue.
It's not a hardware issue. This happened because of their lack of technical knowledge when it comes to online services.
It's unbelievable isn't it?
The storage device I bought 3 days ago by paying 2 times more money than its counterparts became inoperable 3 days later due to the incompetence of the manufacturer and its infamous technical service.
The device, which has been connected to the internet and electricity for 1 week, still could not update itself. It gets the ip address from my modem, dhcp is working, universal plug and play is on, the device that was connected to the internet as it was working properly until it stopped connecting to the old version due to WD and now no longer works.
The funniest part is, when I wrote about this problem on the WD forums and said how funny and disgraceful it was, the forum post I wrote was deleted by the moderator and my account was banned.
For what ?
because I get annoyed about the incapibility of WD tech staff and a recently bought product that stopped working for no reason.

Warranty to extend of WD Blue 2TB hard Disk Sata S/N:- WCC4N5RDP63R and whose warrant showed that it expired kindly note that when the end consumer bought & used the item's new Hard drive for the first time in the system the warranty period began. So kindly make it right from the date of using it with invoice copy showed to you.
I have multiple times contact you and you broke my heart and bothered my mind for just a simple warranty matter, I first time in many years since 2014 first time I lost trust in WD company for a simple warranty matter and harassed me so much. I think you inside your heart suggesting me to Court now for litigation for just one warranty matter against you, As my value to listen through Email is not understood by you. You are sleeping for my Emails to respond time is running out and you not provide good answer to me.
The Matter raised so many times now i think time come to stop all this and bring lawsuit against you .
The hard Disk Price Rs 6800/ approximately , litgation Expenes, Punitive damages and harrassment expenses Rs 100000/ and Counsel Fee 50000/- Indian Ruppes all i will take from you when the cases decided by the Judge. Hope a Good judgment i will get one day against you.

Your replacement department is very poor service. After paying for two return I got RMA and mailed my drive back after proof you received it and a few days later I check, and they say they did not receive it.
After showing proof it was signed for, they found it. After a few days later they have a tracking number, if I'm lucky I will get the new one this Friday.
They shipped it UPS, taking a week to return. What did I pay for two day return, and it takes a week, and why do I pay for shipping for your defective part?
I tried to send complaint to vice President who said he wanted to hear from me, but it kept not summiting.

They That is the way that warranties work you pay shipping to and in some cases from. Every warranty works this way.

Now if you paid WD for quick service that is different. The have no duty tp turn around the same way that you shipped it.
